This webinar examines women’s sexual function in the context of gynecologic brachytherapy through anatomical, dosimetric, and survivorship perspectives. Dr. Deborah Marshall will discuss the clinical significance of accurately contouring bulboclitoris and its role in female sexual function. Dr. Stella Lymberis, MD, will review bulboclitoris dose considerations in brachytherapy for low-lying vaginal cancers, and Jennifer Bires, LCSW, OSWC,CST will address sexual health recovery following radiation for pelvic malignancies, highlighting communication strategies and evidence-based support. Together, the session offers a concise, multidisciplinary view of preserving sexual function following definitive radiation for gynecologic malignancies.
