Join us to learn the key elements of an MR-only guided workflow for gynecological brachytherapy. Priscilla Dreyer, PhD at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, will walk through the complete process—including recommended MR sequences, techniques to improve applicator visibility in MR imaging, and strategies for identifying applicators while accounting for distortion in MR images.
Because applicators can appear distorted on MR, many clinics still rely on both CT and MR for planning. CT introduces far less distortion and provides clearer visualization of applicators. However, results from the EMBRACE II trial underscored the importance of MR-guided brachytherapy for cervical cancer, prompting more radiation oncology centers to consider MR only planning for HDR cases.
This webinar will be valuable for clinics preparing to launch an MR-only program as well as those already using MR-guided workflows who want to refine and optimize their processes.
