Radiation Oncology departments are transitioning to procedural, anesthesia and perioperative areas, through the addition of brachytherapy, hydrogel spacers, balloon spacers, fiducial placement, and both adult and pediatric anesthesia. Due to Radiation Oncology belonging to the ambulatory/clinic setting, there is little to no guidance on how to manage this transition from an operational and educational standpoint.
